- Tune in at 9 am weekdays for three hours of New Mexico music curated by Alonzo Lucero - Rancheros, Cumbias, Boleros, Nortenos, Corridos and more. 2024 will mark Alonzo's 54th year in radio and rumors of retirement! - At noon Indigenous Brilliance with host Lyle Toledo Yazzie brings you both traditional and contemporary native music.
- At 2 pm we will air The Main Stream from Native Voice One. Host Brett Maybee (Seneca) curates a program that explores the best recorded music of yesterday and today. Brett draws upon his love of all music to create the very best listening experience.
- John McNerney's Early Daze is back playing classic Rock and Roll from the 60s through the 80s at 3 pm Mondays.
- Today at 5:00 pm Marty Tippens brings you his weekly Music of the Space Age and Beyond. Now on the air for two hours with an encore at midnight Saturdays.
- George Koinis hosts The Jazz Groove now from 7 pm until 9 pm. Enjoy mainstream, swing, Latin, fusion, blues and more.
- Then at 9 pm, Bioneers brings us Beaver Believers: How to Restore Planet Water: In this age of global weirding where climate disruption has tumbled the Goldilocks effect into unruly surges of too much and too little water, the restoration of beavers offers ancient nature-based solutions to the tangle of challenges bedeviling human civilization. Droughts, floods, soil erosion, climate change, biodiversity loss - you name it, and beaver is on it. In this episode, Kate Lundquist and Brock Dolman of the Occidental Arts and Ecology Center share their semi-aquatic journey to becoming Beaver Believers. They are part of a passionate global movement to bring back our rodent relatives who show us how to heal nature by working with nature. Bioneers is brought to you by Las Placitas Association.
- From 10 pm to midnight, catch the encore of Electric Bosque, hosted by Sasquatch on Saturday mornings at 7 am. Beyond Words' encore has moved to 2 am Wednesdays.

- At noon join us for three hours of Blues from the Roadhouse with host Alan Ball with the best of vintage and new blues. Today enjoy all women blues artists.
- At 3 pm we air a syndicated show out of Colorado: The Beth Williams Indie Americana Songwriter Show. This is a one-hour weekly program showcasing Colorado and Texas songwriters, along with songwriters from around the world. Beth is an Academy of Country Music Top 10 Nominee for Best New Female Vocalist of the Year whose songs have charted in Billboard, Cash Box and various European charts through the years.
- At 4 pm we are airing a series from Public Radio Exchange: The International Americana Music Show: Michael Park calls this a rather "considered" edition of the program, featuring a number of artists and songs which seems to bring a sense of balance to the playlist - featuring, as it does, a curated mix of new and old tracks, established and new artists, and both original and cover songs.
- At 5 pm, long-time favorite Let's Get Creative airs. Larry Goodell starts the hour with some featured poetry, followed by music and interviews from Jerry DiTata.
- At 6 pm host George Koinis presents music from the Eddie Chelist Collection.
- At 7 pm, Dr. Slide brings his hit show Slide Factor live to Tuesday nights. Enjoy American Slide Music at its best with our Dobro and Steel Guitar master for over 50 years.
- At 9pm enjoy an hour of Global Village: This time in the Global Village we showcase global saxophonists inspired by jazz and jazz saxophonists who incorporated world influences in their work. Among the artists featured are Manu Dibango, David Hillyard & the Rock Steady Seven, Canelita Sabrosa, and Gyedu-Bley Ambolley from the world side, and two master jazz saxophonists – Pharoah Sanders and Ronnie Cuber – who brought African and Latin music into their work. And as we continue our May AAPI Heritage Month Feature, we’ll hear music this time from percussionist Trilok Gurtu.
- Now at At 10 pm, Wandering Minstrels brings you the best of Bluegrass.
- At 11 pm enjoy the encore of Anna Rudolph's Sunday Chasing the Muse.

- Noon brings Paul Ingles' Music Archive. PINK FLOYD'S legendary DARK SIDE OF THE MOON - Part 1 of 2: Award-winning music documentarian Paul Ingles talks with musician and author John Kruth about Kruth's 2023 book called LUNACY: The Curious Phenomenon of Pink Floyd's legendary 1973 album DARK SIDE OF THE MOON, one of the top selling rock albums of all-time. In this first of two hours, Paul and John talk about Pink Floyd's early days leading up to the 1973 DARK SIDE album and take a deep dive into Side 1 of the collection.
- At 1 pm enjoy Sounds from the Mother Road from Public Radio Exchange. Sounds from the Mother Road is weekly exploration of the last 70 years of American Roots Music, featuring western swing, country, rockabilly, cowboy tunes and the artists who continue those traditions today. This week on the Mother Road we look to the sky, songs about stars, rainbows and the sun from Guy Clark, Willie Nelson, Gene Autry, The Flatlanders, Floyd Tillman, Merle Haggard and more.
- At 2 pm DJ Sal Treppiedi hosts Sounds from the Superhighway for three hours.

- At 7 pm, a new time slot, tune in for Hindsight with Johnny Lawndart - music underplayed and overlooked. And look for a second airing of some version of Hindsight now on Saturdays at 8pm.
- Then at 9 pm, Dave Revels leads the soul tribute group Shadows of the 60s in a concert recorded August 11, 2018 at the Fur Peace Ranch.
- At 10 pm is our exclusively aired series "Stolen Moments" from the late Simon Barley. You will be treated to the best in acoustic modern jazz recorded between 1944 and 1969. Check out our talent page on the website to learn more about the amazing Simon Barley.

- Join us at noon for Art of the Song: In a career that spans two decades, New York duo Maura and Pete Kennedy have traversed a broad musical landscape, surveying power pop, acoustic songwriting, organic rock, and a Byrds-inspired jangle that drew the attention of Roger McGuinn, Steve Earle, and most notably Nanci Griffith. The duo co-produced Nanci's 2012 CD, and have toured the US and British Isles with the Texas songstress. We sat down with the Kennedys at Argot Studios in New York City.
- At 1 pm enjoy 10,000 Good Songs - Music Documentarian Paul Ingles shares some of the best from his multi-genre collection of tunes. This is not music you will hear on commercial radio.
- At 3pm join Spinning Kenny G and the Mystery Hour - you never know what to expect.
- Dr. David Hoekenga's Harmonies from the Sandias airs at 6 pm, tonight's feature TBA.
- Night at the Opera at 8pm is also hosted by Dr. Hoekenga and tonight's opera is TBA. Since operas vary in length, Dr. Dave will now fill the remainder of the time slot with classical selections.

- At 9am, tune in for Alonzo Lucero as he highlights Corridos for an hour on Fridays.
- At noon, Tim Trujillo leads off at noon with Straight No Chaser, now for two hours with an encore at 7 am Sundays. Check out Tim's new sidekick Richard Warren on our Talent Page and on the air. He knows a lot about the music he selects.
- At 2 pm welcome to Indigenous in Music with Larry K. This week we welcome from Rapid City South Dakota, Ryan LittleEagle, singer, songwriter and storyteller. His 5th album is out entitled “Native Americana,” Indigenous country folk tunes at it best.
- Peace Talks Radio now airs at 3 pm Fridays, a series on peacemaking and nonviolent conflict resolution. Today it's Changing Minds during Election Season: Insights into the mind-changing process that targets the undecided or conflicted voter from two authors who've written books about changing minds and from a political media specialist. Following this half hour Peace Talks segment, you'll hear from Regis Pecos, former Governor of Cochiti Pueblo and Rep. Derrick Lente (District 26) about education in New Mexico and the Tribal Education Trust Fund.

- At 9 pm - The Playlist with host Brandon "Brando" McDaniel ends our day with three hours of eclectic music. Brando has recently been making guest appearances as the host of the local music segment of Let’s Get Creative on KUPR and we are excited to make a space for his eclectic taste in music
- At 7 am we kick off Saturday morning with Electric Bosque. DJ Sasquatch returns to the radio at KUPR, after a decade on the college radio station KCPR in San Luis Obispo, California, where he hosted a range of shows. He's excited to be back on the airwaves, sharing the music that tickles his ears in "Electric Bosque," a two-hour-long wander through electronic music new and old.
- Saturday morning at 9 am join us for a three-hour KUPR unique venture into the world of music. Patrick Vanderwyden hosts Hidden Gems of the 21st Century - Patrick harvests rain water for the station and is newest member of the managing council. On Saturday mornings he introduces you to music he enjoys, but is missing from the playlists of most radio stations.
- Join us at 11 for Whiskey in the Jar, old time fiddle and traditional Irish music with host Marc Robert. Marc has been a fixture on the Placitas music scene for years, playing banjo, guitar and acoustic bass. He’s part of the Virginia Creepers, a local old time band, and also plays with his son Michel as Littlefoot (also old time) and with fiddler Eileen Sullivan as Far From Home (traditional Irish music).
- At noon Bill Honker will bring you Home Again. Bill is a singer and songwriter who played bass, sang and contributed songs to the Alan Munde Gazette, a nationally known bluegrass band.
- At 1 pm host Jerry D brings us Home Country with Slim Randles.
- Next up at 2 pm is Saturday Afternoon Freeform with Jerry D featuring Americana, Bluegrass, and Jambands, just to name a few.
- Bobbi Bell's OutWest Hour comes on at 4 PM- music, poetry, prose, Western, Western Swing, Cowboy Country and more. Today it's Two on the Dial.
- At 5 pm is an exotica jazz show - The Enchanted Tiki Hut with hosts Kitty and Mr. C. This show is another unique KUPR offering!
- At 7 pm we are excited to bring you another unique, locally produced show - The Lounge with host Nick Upton. Nick joined KUPR after a 45-year career in radio.
- Then at 8 pm, check out X Wave with host Freeze featuring alternative, new wave and underground music from the college radio era. Read more on our talent page.
- Hours 4 and 5 of The Main Stream run from 8 to 10 pm.
- Sunday Morning with Ken Grimes and Lynn Kaskela begins at 9am for a Morning Blend of mostly mellow music to begin your Sunday.
- Ken is followed by Mandolin Magic with host George Koinis at 11, one hour of music featuring some of the world's finest mandolinists playing solo, in duets, with ensembles, and with orchestras.
- Katie Stone's The Children's Hour - Keeping Our Cool. This time on The Children’s Hour we learn strategies to keep our cool with Michelle Renee Pelletier, who teaches kids how to meditate using guided imagery. Together, we’ll try Michelle’s meditation exercise, and reflect on how it makes us feel. Then we’ll meet Evan, a 10 year old who was taught mindfulness at school with Families 4 Peace’s instructor, Scott Cameron. Our Kids Crew member Evan Daitz reviews the book, The Boy, The Mole, The Fox, and The Horse by Charlie Mackesy.
- Get acquainted with our newest show 1-3 pm. DJ Ken Ward is on the air with “Tombstone Every Mile” for vintage honky-tonk and bluegrass, truckin’ songs, western swing and cowboy classics, gospel quartets, and the occasional old-time string band tune. Encore runs Sundays 5-7 am.
- At 3:00 pm we air a four hour KUPR exclusive: Women's Voices - Hour 1 is The Voice with Pam D, featuring a different theme each show. At 4 PM is another hour of Beyond Words with Blaze Defiance, followed at 5:00 pm by Sarah Lawndart as she graces our airwaves with Pearls - music, poetry and more. Then, at 6 pm we are excited to be joined by singer/songwriter Anna Rudolph and Chasing the Muse for the final hour of Women's Voices.
- Bob Witter, host of The Mix, is behind the mic with all new one hour shows.
- At 8 pm enjoy Old Time Radio Theater with host Ken Jones. You’ll be hearing the lovely and talented young actress Susan Peters in a triple feature night of popular films Johnny Eager (1946) costarring Robert Taylor and Van Heflin, Seventh Heaven (1945) costarring Van Johnson and Dark Victory (1946) costarring Franchot Tone.
- At 10 pm to midnight we run an encore of Thursday's 10,000 Good Songs from music Documentarian Paul Ingles with a weekly mix of music from his multi-genre personal collection - mostly stuff you only get from public radio.
